27-9-2009 - 34 weeks

My mood while writing this blog: EXCITED/NERVOUS/ANXIOUS

34 weeks today.... This has been the fastest pregnancy ever, I still can't believe that I am having another baby and a little boy too.... Hopefully in less than 6 weeks, I was 1 week early with my daughter so hoping this lil man comes early too.

Last week I was diagnosed with PUPPPs, which is a very itchy red lumpy rash all across my stomach, my skin feels like scales and they have told me that if it spreads and becomes unbearable than I will be induced early, also at my 33 week check my baby was still breach but he still has heaps of time to move.

I have another appointment tomorrow to discuss a birthing plan since my last birth was considered high risk due to an infection, and the shoulders wouldnt come through. I am not going to have any pain medication this time as last time I had some gas and a pethidine shot in my leg and they both made me feel sick so going all natural..... Although I am very tempted to have an epi as I have been told you feel absolutely nothing.

I am very unorganised with everything else, we only have a 3 bedroom house at the moment and I need the 3rd room for a spare for when my mum comes to stay so we have the cradle set up in our room for Jack and all his stuff in the spare room cupboard, then when Katie is out of her cot we will set up the room for him, probably by the time he is 4 months.... I have bought so many clothes though :) We aren't going to buy a pram at this stage cause I want to test them out with both babies in them, so for the first few weeks I will use my old pram and my baby bjorn, not that I will be getting out all that much.

I am really looking forward to breast feeding this time, I only lasted 7 weeks with Katie as my milk was not producing enough to keep her full so I started supplementing which just made my milk go even more, so this time I feel more experienced and plan to feed him for at least 6 months..

I can't believe you are at 34 weeks already! I can't believe I am almost to 30!! craziness!! I hope everything goes well with your birth plan! I had an epi with Bekah and while I still felt some with the actual delivery, it made the labor just great!, I felt a smidge of pressure with each contraction, like I knew they were happening, but not painful at all, I was even able to take a nap during labor! fan-freaking-tastic! I totally plan on having one again with Sarah!

wow 34 weeks. I remember when you got your BFP - it has gone quick. Good luck - I bet you can't wait to meet your baby boy! x

how exciting...i felt once I made it to 30 weeks that the last of it went by so fast. I did it all natural with no drugs and honestly it didn't hurt as bad as you think. I dont do well with pain at all, but if I had to do it again I would do it without drugs again. good luck

oh how exciting!!! with elizabeth i didnt plan on having any pain meds. but i had to be induced due to low amnio fluid my contractions were off the chart after my water broke so i got the epi those things are awsome LOL couldnt feel a thing. i plan on having another one (well thats if i ever get pregnant again)
