30-4-2009 - first midwife appt

My mood while writing this blog: not too bad

So i had my first appt witht he midwife on monday! i was so excited for it and i didnt think brenton was gonna be able to come but he did so he got to hear it all aswell. it went for 2 hours and all they did was ask heaps of questions about my medical and family history and brentons. i thought i was gonna get to hear the baby's heart beat but she said it was to early..... i was soo disapointed and am still just assuming that i have something rowing inside me...lol but i have my first scan booked and its on may 19th for the down syndrome test ( the thickness of the skin on the back of the neck?) and ill be 12 weeks then.

i got a bounty bag with my "orange book" and it had some goodies in there like a nappy and some stretch mark cream and some nappy rash cream as well as so much information to read! it gave me a headache...
