My mood while writing this blog: Fab |
Yay, I'm 17 weeks today.
I can't believe how fast this pregnancy is going but I guess thats just the difference between your first and subsiquent pregnancies, with a little person around there is other things to focus on and keep your mind busy. Last time i spent every waking moment thinking about my pregnancy.
I go for my next midwife appointment on the 6th August and then have my 20 week scan on the 14th. We are not going to find out the sex as we like to have a surprise. It makes it hard to wait but is such a lovely moment and something to think about in labour.
Have been very busy with lots of guests staying lately. Also my husband has been doing 1 week on 1 week off offshore on the rig. I find it busy when he's home cactching up with him and busy when he's away being a solo parent. On the upside now that Toby is older Jim takes him out more and I get a little time to myself which is soooooo nice.
Toby is lots of fun and the whole world is his to explore. He has been having troubles with teeth everyone that comes through I am counting down till it is no longer a problem, I can't wait. I am not a fan of teething.
Well better go, hope this finds everyone well and happy.
Helen

Wednesday, 22 Jul Wow, can't believe you are 17wks already. Time sure does fly!! HOw exciting, almost at the half way mark. I think its so cool you are going to wait for birth to find out what you are having. I found out with Cody at scan, but waited for Jessicas birth to find out if she was a boy or girl. Best thing ever!!!!!! It is such a nice surprise and I will be definitely be waiting until the end to find out with number 3. All going well, we should start trying in sep... yaaa. Good luck with the teething, its a tough time, but he'll get there. A really good soother, which my kids loved, is pineapple rings. Put them in a container in fridge, so they are nice and cold. Then paper towel dry them before you give them to the kiddies to eat and its really soothing on their gums. Good luck with that. Hope you are feeling well and enjoying pregnancy!
