09-2-2009 - Doctor appointment

My mood while writing this blog: ecstatic

I saw the Doctor today for the first time and had an ultrasound done. I was so relieved to hear the baby's heartbeat! I was however surprised to hear that I have fibroids, enlarged ovaries, and ovarian cysts :o( The Doctor didn't seem too worried and she wants to see me back in 4 weeks for another sonogram. She is also going to schedule me for a cerclage when I am 13 weeks, which makes me a little nervous. I hope I don't lose this baby! I was so sad to see my husband get so emotional after seeing the sonogram and hearing the baby's heartbeat. He said it brought back a lot of bittersweet memories from when we were pregnant with Brayden and he didn't think he ever really dealt with those emotions.
