17-5-2009 - Gettin into our Little routine

Hiya ladies. Hope all is well with everyone.

So I didn't cjeck to see when I gave the last update on Little Man, so here it is. He's a month old.....yay we made it.lol He's getting so big, he's my little chunky butt.lol On wednesday for some reason on the front part of his little head he lost his hair, so now he looks like a little old man with his new hair style. Some of the faces he makes crack everyone up because he looks like Mr. Magoo or (if any of you have seen the comedian Jeff Durham, he has a puppet named Walter). Walter the puppet is a cranky old man.....oh boy my Little Guy looks just like him....it's quiter hilarious. Anyways he get to go this week to the doctors to get his first round of shots. Everyone keeps telling me how I'll react once he gets his first shot...we'll see. I hope I'm a good little mommy and just comforts him instead of crying myself...I'll keep you posted on his visit.

So I'm doing ok I guess. I keep counting the weeks down until I get back to normal. I liked my normal body that didn't ache or hurt. Now I know it's completely normal to hurt a little less each day, but damn I wish it would hurry up and get over. I'm still having back issues, hell it plain hurts every night. Actually I've had a couple of nights this week that I had my dad take Evan becasue my back was killing me and I couldn't even hold him. I didn't trust myself not drop him when he woke up during the night to eat. Last week I went to a friends house and wore a pair of jeans...well that wasn't exactly the best thing I've done in a while. My jeans were bunching up right on my scar----oh what a lovely pain that was. So between the burning/pulling feeling that I've been getting, add on the rubbing of jeans, oh yeah I screwed myself. I definately have been paying for that brillant idea.lol

Oh here'e a great update that I forgot to add. I have had a great expierence with the stupid state worker that I have. Two weeks ago I recieved Evan's medicaid card and the paperwork for child support a couple days later. Well my worker imput Evan's name into the system wrong. So that means that his medicaid card and support papers have the wrong name on them. So after a week of leaving meassage after message I finally got ahold of her. She couldn't figure out why I had such an issue with his name. Then she finaaly said for me to come to the office and bring his record of birth, keep in mind I had already given her a copy. Anyways I go the office and meet with her. I give her all of his paper work with his proper name on it. she then ask me for my id so I give it to her. After 30 mins of her looking at the computer she has me fill out for medicaid all over again for him. So I do (complete pain in my ass), anyways I sign the paperwork and she looks it over and proceeds to tell me that I signed my name wrong. Now this is where I start to get a little bit irritated. My name is Kathy not Kathleen or Kathryn just Kathy. My last name is O'Donnel with one l and 2 n's. Well according to her that's not my name.....this is complete news to me because I've had my name for 35 years now, but according to her I've been wrong all these years. So after a while of trying to get her to understand what my name is and what Evan's proper name is I think she may have finally gottin it.....I'm waiting on his new card to come in so we'll see.

So that's my update for the past couple of weeks. I'll let you all know how his appointment goes this week. Baby dust to all.
