07-6-2009 - Stupid Ex

My mood while writing this blog: ok

Hi ladies. Just me giving you all an update on my stupid ex.

Well first let me fill you in on Evan. He's getting so big. I was caught off guard the other day, my little guy no longer fits in his Newborn clothes. That made me so sad, but it also means he's growing and that's a good thing. He has always held his head up since he was born, but it was always like having my own little human "Bobble Head". But Wednesday my dad timed how long he's holding his head up for with out Bobbleing.....to our surprise he held it up for 6 mins....I'm so happy. He's pulling himself from one end of the couch to the other....it may take a good 15mins, but he's doing it on his own. Oh I can't forget about the "Lovely" hair pulling that he does, the boy's got a good grip I tell ya.lol Can't think of the other things right now.

Now as for his dad. The "Putts" is in North Carolina on vacation. Well to most people this shouldn't be a big deal. He doesn't need to get my permission to go on vacation. But I do have a problem with being lied to about it. He has been telling me for the past 3 weeks that he can't give me any money for Evan because his hours got cut at work. Come to find out his hours haven't been cut actually he's been working over 60 hours for the past month. His hours aren't going to be cut until mid August, and then he'll be put on straight 40 hours. If you're wondering how I found out about his hours.....I ran into his boss tuesday and we were chatting. He asked me about when were the papers coming from the Friend of The Court.. So while we were talking his boss called him (on speaker) and the ding dong answered. His boss played it off as if he was just wondering how things were going down there. And Steve was telling him how great of a time they were having. He also told his boss that they were thinking about going back next month on his next vacation.

So then today(saturday) I went to his moms and I asked why she had Steve's truck because it was in her driveway. She didn't know that Steve never told me where they were going. She was pissed when she found out I didn't know. Her husband even said "what the hell is he thinking, he has a child now, he needs to tell Kathy if he's leaving the state just incase something happens with Evan". Needless to say I think when Steve and Bev get back from their happy little vacation, his mommy and step daddy are going to have a nice little chat with him.

So like I said I could care less if he's on vacation,more power to him. But I do have an issue with him not telling me about where he was going. He seems to forget about having a responsibilty now. The part that just doesn't make sense in my mind is, Evan is 7 weeks and come to find out Steve has had this vacation planned for a month. So in my mind Steve has had a month to mention it to me. Or better yet he should have seen Evan before he left considering he hasn't seen him since Memorial Weekend when he had him. It's not about he money issue either, but yet it is at the same time. Don't stop giving me money just so you can afford to go on vacation. Considering when I called him this past monday for all of his information for The Friend of the Court he got a complete attitude, he doesn't think they should ask for his SS# or work phone#. In other words he really honestly doesn't want to pay----oh well that is out of my hands. I can't control how much they will be taking from him and I'm pretty sure it goes by what he makes....he make good money plus all his overtime may play a factor in what they take. I think he's aware of that too so that's why he's pissed. How I feel about it......oh well life goes on, he might as well get used to it because he's got 18 years to pay.
