| 16-12-2009 - We\'re doing good | My mood while writing this blog:swell |
Hello ladies. Been a little bit...forgot my password..opps. Anyways wanted to give you all an update on Evan. He turned 8 months today...time has passed so quickly. Ok here is the best news possible. Lat monday we (Me and Steve) finally went to court. Guess who got FULL custody, yep thats right I did. I got full legal and custodial custody and the best part is I didn't even ask for it. Another thing that worked to my advantage without asking for it, visitations are up to me. It is up to my discression on when Steve sees Evan. I do feel that in away I got screwed because he only has to pay 487 a month because his paystubs shows that he only works 3 days a week and he doesn't. He works 6 days and his works pays him cash for 3, so because of that they have him down only working seasonal, which in my book is crap but oh well. Another thing he doesn't have to pay any back payment and the support isn't going to kick in for 2-4 months. So the way I look at it I'm not going to get anything from him until Evan is either a year old or close to it. But that is ok because I have custody. Now here is the reason they gave me custody, you guys are going to love it. Yep you guessed it he brought "my friend" Bev. The order we both recieved in the mail telling us when we had to appear said on it clearly in black and white---NO 3rd parties. We only had to bring with us our ID, paystubs, and the order itself with our case number. Well ding dong brought her, and a 4 inch file on copies of reciepts of everything he has bought for Evan over the past 8 months. We showed up at the same time at court and I saw her and asked why she was there, both their response was so she could speak on Steve behalf, why you ask I don't know. Anyways as we are checking in at the security desk one of the security guards asked her why she was there and where was her order to be at court that day, she said I'm with him. The security guard call someone and let me and Steve thru...she wasn't allowed past security..haha I thought it was funny. Anyways back to why I got custody, our referee that we had told Steve flat out that he should have followed the court oder. Court order meaning no 3rd parties and just paystubs and ID. He didn't care how much money Steve has spent on his child, no of that mattered. So basically Steve thought he was going to go and stick it to Kathy and instead it back fired in his face. Now he has to pay me support (which they hate) and he has no say in how Evan is raised. He was so worried about what he was going to have to pay it didn't even dawn on him until tuesday that he signed his rights away...dumbass.
Now onto Evan...he's awesome. He puts a smile on my face everyday. I honestly don't know how life was before him. He's up and moving around on his own now crawling all over the place. He eats like a little piggy...he loves his food. He loves it when I let him feed himself with the spoon, and he;s not that messy either. He's pretty much made up his mind that I'm not allowed to eat by myself anymore, apparently what I eat he thinks he can eat. It's so funny because he thinks because he can crawl wherever he wants he thinks he can walk also, so yes he's my little webble wabble. I don't mind when he holding onto something but it's when he thingks he can let go and just walk. I'll just say he's made pretty good friends with the floor, lol. So last week I was gatering laundry upstairs and I heard my dad whistling for me, when I went to the stair to come down, there Evan on the 5th step working his way up. (my dad was behind him incase he fell) Well needless to say I had to have a mommy and Evan talk, I don't think he heard me though because he keeps trying to pull the gate down off the stairs.Another things that is great for me, he knows the differnce between when mom says no and when someone else says no. When I say it he'll stop what he's doing and sometimes he'll stop doing whatever and lay down and put his face in the carpet. But then if someone else says no he'll just laugh at them and continue. All I keep telling people is MOM's got the power..lol He finally got his 2 bottom teeth, so in other words he got his 2 front teeth for Christmas.
Ok ladies that about all for now. I hope all is good with you and yours. And to all of you Happy Holidays.
