31-12-2008 - Just Catching Up...

My mood while writing this blog: Tired

Well, I just thought that while I am sitting here at work, on New Years Eve.....I would write down some thoughts that have been going through my head over the last few weeks. Tomorrow I will be entering the last week of the "danger zone" and I hope that it will be the last week of the "sick zone" as well.

OK, well I wanted to start out by tracking my weight a little since it seems like it is adding up very fast, unlike with my last pregnancy where I gained barely anything until the end. So, I was sick before my hubby and I started trying to concieve and had gone down to about 108, which was very light as I am usually 115 or so. So I am going to give that (115) as a base weight since that is right around where I was at my first 6 week appointment. Now that being said I just stepped on the scale and I am looking at 121, Yikes! However, I am going to take it in stride because I have been told that at 5-5 1/2, I should be around 125 average. Ok enough of that hopefully I will level off shortly because so far that is a gain of at least 6 pounds! Oh and dear, sweet hubby told me that he can tell I am getting more "dense", real nice!

Next, I am tired, so tired....I think that my nausea is going it barely comes and goes at this point (that is why I gained so much because eating...constantly was the only thing that made it go). However, it seems now that I have caught a cold, have a sore throat and and am just achy all over, ugh! So, I am thinking and this may be wishful thinking, but I am still thinking it none the less,that if I can get plenty of rest over my upcoming 4 day weekend I may be able to kick this cold and then I will wake up in the middle of week 12 out of the haze of the first trimester, moving on and get a chance to enjoy things a bit and oh......maybe even pick something up around my house (nah).

I guess that is about it for now, just wanted to do a bit of ranting and oh, mention that I just love orange soda and anything tomato right now, no......not together that's gross :)

Looking forward to waking up next year, tomorrow knowing that this little one will be starting out his/her life in 2009!
