13-1-2009 - HELLO 2nd TRIMESTER

My mood while writing this blog: Happy to be here!

Well today is day one in week 14 so even though I always thought it was three months per trimester....I hear that I am in my second trimester today. I am happy to be here and hoping that my symptoms of early pregnancy will fade.

So far, I don't feel sick all day any more, but an still feeling lousy in the morning for a little while. I find that after I eat I am good until about 10 or 10:30 and then it is time to eat again. Around 2pm I start to feel full and then am bloated and have heartburn for the rest of the day (worst symtoms). Something that I find odd is the fact that I am really out of breath. Prior to becoming pregnant I smoked almost a pack a day, spent a lot of time at the gym and was never this winded. The second I found out about 10 or 11 weeks ago I obviously stopped smoking right away and have been very winded and even lightheaded for about the past 7 weeks, strange??????

Anyway, that is about it, I am excited to be here, impatient to find out what we are having, my hubby thinks boy and I think girl. I mainly think girl because everyone else is sure that it is a boy.....so it will likely be a girl. I have an appointment on the 20th so that is a little less than a week and hopefully they will set up my ultrasound to find out what we are having then!
