05-2-2009 - Somebody is knocking but they can't come out...

My mood while writing this blog: anxious

So on, Superbowl Sunday, February 1st, I felt the first real kicks for this little one. It was like three little "knocks" real low in my stomach, maybe three or four times. I think that s/he likes cake and funny bones, because s/he did it again on Monday, right after eating some. Now I can feel it almost everyday on and off, but sometimes it is stronger than others. In fact on Monday night, I swear I could feel it with my hand, that is how hard it was!

So, at this point, we are just waiting to find out who is knocking in there. We get to go on the 16th which is president's day, maybe s/he will be the president some day and that is why s/he wanted to wait?!? Anyway, I am so impatient and it seems like it is taking forever, I can't wait to be able to relate and talke to him/her by name! Soon, not much longer now, in the mean time I will just have to settle with his/her little kicks.

Oh, and s/he likes to kick while I am singing in the car, daddy thinks that it is because s/he is telling me to be quiet, but I am pretty sure the s/he is dancing!

Also, just wanted to say, that I love Grapefruit and pretty much anything that is sweet and sour, mmmmm. I have been eating a bag, a week, yes......a bag!

2/5/09 first time daddy got to feel the baby, with the help of a little caffine, just a couple sips and it was wiggle worm for an hour!
