03-4-2009 - GD :O(

My mood while writing this blog: worried and tired

Well, I went on Wednesday at 4:30pm to take my GD test. I ate a pudding at like 2:40 and then drank that stuff and like 3:30 to test at 4:30. Nobody told me not to eat sweats or anything, it just said don't eat after. Then I get on here the next day and everyone is talking about how they have failed unless they have taken the test first thing in the morning.

So, at the end of the day yesterday (Thurday) they call and tell me that I FAILED! So, I had to go today and take the dreaded three hour test. That was the worst experience that I have had in a long time. I couldn't eat anything (of course they didn't even tell me that, I just figured it out on my own and then when I went in this morning (Friday) they asked when the last time I was was to make sure that I had fasted....."well ya I did but it was no thanks to you incompetant fools!!!!!!!!!") and I had to have my blood drawn four times in a three hour period. So I was laying in the lab waiting room across the chairs feeling like death! Then they were like 5 minutes late with each draw because I had to get up and remind them becuase they were not even competent enough to work the timer! So, hopefully that won't screw things up.

Anyway, it is done now, and I should know the results by tomorrow or Monday at the latest. I went straight out to get pizza and soda after I was done, then I ate some peanut butter cookies and am drinking an ice tea. If they don't call me back until Monday, I plan on eating like that all weekend, just in case I have to give it all up for the next three months, better safe than sorry, better get it out of my system just in case?!?
