28-4-2009 - Happy Birthday Ultrasound!

My mood while writing this blog: Happy, Happy, Happy!!!!!

My wonderful husband took me to have a 3-D ultrasound on Saturday for my 30th birthday! It was so wonderful!!!!! I got to see my little boy (and yes, I am now convinced that I am definately having a baby boy)! He is so cute he looks so much like daddy it is freaky. I mean I know that I should have assumed that there was a very good chance that he would look like daddy, but my daughter looks so much like me, it was just a surprise!! A very good surprise because I think that my hubby is just the most adorable (well maybe second most now) person :o).

So, I just wanted to update about that, I cannot stop looking at the pictures, over and over again! I am so in love!!!

On another note and being that I am 29 week so just a bit over 7 months how about an update on everything else. Not much to report. I am starting to really get big and am clearly pregnant now. Everyone is noticing and making comments at this point. I have a pain in the back, legs, ribs (apparently the little guys butt, from the pictures in the ultrasound), and my feet and calves hurt all the time. But what can you do. I haven't gained a pound in about three week and acctually lost a couple of pounds within the first week of eating the special diet for GD. I was told that our little man is growing well though and I have been making sure to get all of my carbs in as healthy things for him. Hopefully, and on the bright side I won't have very much work to do to get back into shape when he gets here!!!!!
