My daughter Emory was born on June 22, 2008 weighing 7lbs 1.8oz & 19 inches long. She came 11 days early =)
On Saturday June 21st Around 9 p.m I started having contractions, they didn't hurt. But they were 3 minutes apart. My mom decided to time them for awhile and she ended up timing them for about 2 and half hours. They stayed regular which she was so happy about lol. She thought we should go to the hospital and just see if I dilated anymore than a 2. And i wasn't really wanting to go since i had gone that Wednesday for contractions and was sent home. I just didn't wanna get sent home again. But we ended up going. When we got there they made me change into a gown so they could hook me up to the monitors to time my contractions and see the baby's heartbeat. So i laid down on the bed and the nurse checked me and I was still a 2. I was so disappointed because I didn't wanna go home, I wanted this to be it. But they said that they wanted me to stay and watch me for an hour than check me again to see if i was in active labor. So she had me turn on my side while she was entering my information into the computer and when I turned over I started having a contraction and My water broke! I told the nurse I thought it broke and she looked and said "congratulations your daughter will be here soon!" Ugh I was so freaking happy.My moms eyes starting watering and she jumped on that phone and called everyone. I was in labor for 13 hours. I had an epidural but it DIDN'T TAKE!!!! talk about the worst pain ever. There was one point I lifted my head up and asked my parents if i was dieing. it was torture lol.I had my daughter naturally =) I only pushed 5 times and it didn't even take 10 minutes to push her out!!! I was so happy to finally have my daughter. When we got home after a 3 day stay in the hospital, I started having these weird emotions, I'm just so depressed, I think I have PPD. But I go to the doctor on tuesday to see what he says. I'm slowly getting better. My daughter is my world!!!!

Congrats hun, I'm so happy for you and love to hear all the birth stories...I'm awaiting the presense of my little girl too... I hope your feeling better soon, and keep your head up, and enjoy your beautiful baby girl...
