16-12-2008 - Being induced TODAY

My mood while writing this blog:
nervous,excited

Ok ladies so the title says it all. Today at 5pm(2 hrs from now) Im being induced!!!!!Im soooooooooo nervous,scared, and excited.It all started out this morning I went to my routine doctors appointment and i was spilling protein in my urine and had extremely high BP.Im so swollen and have the worst headache aswell. So my doctor sent me down to L&D to get put on the monitor to see if I was contracting and see how the baby was doing and get some test ran.So I get there and they hook me up to a monitor that monitors the baby and one that monitors contractions.They put a BP cuff on me and it was taking a reading every 15 minutes.TooIk another urine sample and some blood too. An hour and a half passes by id say and the finally I got the results.My doctor said that he thought it would just be best if I delivered bc my BP was extremely high!So he said I could go home eat and get my bags ready and see me at 5 to insert cervadil and go from there. so at 5 ill be admitted to the hospital.Im so nervous i can barely think straight.I cant believe ill be meeting my little konnor.These passed 9 months have flown by i really cant believe it.You ladies have been so good to me. Im glad I found this site, you have all helped me through this pregnancy and I wish you all the best of luck with your pregnancys,TTC, and with your children.I cant believe by tomorrow ill be a mommy=) Thank u ladies and ill be posting a birth story up soon=) xoxo

yeah! hope all goes well! konnor is going "get me the hell out of here!" lol...i remember when you comment on one of my photos and you were like "i can't wait to be that big" and here you are ready to have that lil man! yeah!

Oh wow that is Awsome! COngratulations girl Everything will be fine. I am so happy for you. U have been waiting for this moment for a long time! I remember having Michael and was extremely nervous but It was all worth waiting for! COngratulations again and I cannot wait to see picures of little Connor.
