11-6-2008 - Decision!!!! :) FINALLY. . .

I had my 38 week appointment today with Dr. Garza...my mom and Kyle went with me this time because I've been stressing out about the turning vs. c section and I knew my mom would ask the right questions! Dr. Garza did a real quick ultrasound today too, she thought that since she heard the heartbeat low today, that maybe my little one changed positions from breech...but, she didn't! she is perfectly content being breech and she is more than likely going to stay that way. and Dr. Garza said so! We discussed the pros and cons of having her turned...and of having the c section. She said since I am healthy and not obese that I should do great with a c section, and that since little Madi is estimating at 8lbs, 3oz (as of last week), then the turning would be hard! SO....the decision was made to go ahead with the c-section on the 23rd.. So, guys, I'll have a little baby in 12 DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

My brother was 10 pound and tried to come breech.. they discussed a c section and it was all go ahead and he turned a day before hand.. my mum was sooo happy as she wanted a natural birth.. nothing beats it.. she didnt wanna have to wait sooo long to be able to do things with her baby.. she thinks it ruins the bonding process...

I am so happy for you!!! Atleast this way you know when you will get to meet your princess and nice you got to talk about it. Just think pushing a baby out 8lbs or more OUCH!!! My daughter was 7.9lbs and that was hard work =)

yaay congrats at least the light at the end of the tunel! iam so happy for you and you will soon hold your wee one and cry tears of joy and then the work of motherhood starts. you will have lots of fun and when things look kinda mucky and stressy always remember the first time you felt your lil ones kicks and hiccups, those thoughts are bound to bring the smile back on ur face. i pray that all goes well and we see the pics of a happy mom and healthy baby.
