25-7-2009 - Bad Breakup

My mood while writing this blog:
distraught.

Shayne & i split up last night.

I'm so lost. I don't know how this is going to work.

I ride in to work with him mom. So when i get to their house

in the morning, he'll be there. so its going to be weird.

this is exactly what i DIDNT want for krystian.

i didnt want him to have the life i did. I wanted him

to have one family, not 2 seperate ones.

this is killing me inside, but im putting on a strong face

for krystian. We have an apartment together, and i cant leave

because we have a lease for another 7 months! so im going to need to find

someone to stay with me!

Im so sad today.

i just dont know what to do anymore.

Aw i'm sorry.. You'll be okay.
My husband and i have split up about 15 times for days at a time.. something always makes either myself or Jay call. I'm sure whatever it was will blow over.. And if it doesnt.. being a mom gives a woman more strength than anything. You dont need anyone other than yourself to make your son feel as though he has a fantastic family. I'm an only child, i grew up with only my Mother, my dad was a drug addict... But i respect my mother more than anything and she's my best friend in the whole world. She showed me enough love for herself and my entire family smooshed into one person. Love is all you need to make your son feel that way. :) Good luck, Mama.

oh, dear. I can't imagine what you must be feeling.

Any chance at all that the heat of the moment could have escalated things? Is there the chance that in the next few days things could settle down and patch up? I ask b/c this week I was having thoughts of extreme doubt myself, and even started to think out an exit strategy. It took us 5 days, but we're our old selves together again today. I'm hoping for something similar for you. Hugs.
