23-12-2008 - 3 weeks old!

My mood while writing this blog: happy

Well my little man is 3 weeks old today, i know most people dont write these till the first month, but I hardly ever get on anymore as i now have another responsibility... so heres whats happened so far... Ive gotten over the baby blues, thank goodness since that was one of the worst feeling i have felt... So now i can enjoy my perfect little man!... He sleeps 4-5 hours at night straight between feedings! yay... but we are really good about keeping him on a schedual... he was kinda on his own little schedual to start with and we just went with it... But if he ever acts hungry around 2-3 hours, we try giving him the pacifier to see if he will calm down with it, and most of the time he does... cuz if you mess up once and feed him too early then it will mess up his whole day, and night (which sucks) feedings... I read some info up on the internet to help me keep him on a schedual, and it really seemed to help. He hardly ever crys, only when hes hungry, and man the boy can eat! lol... he eats 5 oz every time every once in a while wanting another... hes a big boy so i just feed him, as the pediatrician told me to do... what else.... oh, ive gotten peed on so many times i cant count... he has officially peed on every blanket that he has, which he has alot. and in my hair, not joking...lol. at least it wasnt my mouth, which now i probably just jinxt myself... im trying to learn a new way to change him without having the possibility of getting peed on... the only thing i do right now is just stick a wipe over his pee pee while i wipe his butt... the pee pee tee pees are to hard to stay on for me... ok why am i sharing all this info...lol. Anyways, he has a uroligy appointment at carnal glennon hospital soon because of his hydroseal... he has a bunch of liquid in his right testical that hasnt gone down... he may have to have surgery, but the pediatrician said it is the most comon surgery in newborn boys, and its a very small surgery thats no big deal. so that made me feel better. Oh also we just got his newborn pics done... i will put a few of the pics up here.... Since xmas is in 2 days, have a merry christmas and happy new year!
