BOY ! ! !

Im so happy to find out im having a boy!

I would have been happy either way, but really wanted it to be a boy... and it is!!!!!!! Here is how to apt went:

Its been rainy all day today and yesterday, so that was kinda a bummer so i was hoping the ultrasound would make it better...and it definatly did. First she got all the measurements, then after that she got my sister and aunt to come in the room with me and mike. then she said, and u do want to know what the baby is right? and i was like yes! I was getting a bad feeling becuase she said that i am hard to scan, but soon she said, yep definatly little boy parts! I was soooooo happy. i looked over at mike and he was smilin ear to ear... i am so happy. Also i tested negative for spina bifida and down syndrome and all of the other genetic diseases, so that was good. I am just so shocked at how smoothly this pregnancy is going, i havent had any scares or anything. Im so happy! I gained 5 pds this month tho...but its ok cuz i havent gained anything so far at all...

Mikes family has a reacurring cycle: hes a son of a son of a son...and it continues in that order in his family. there is only one son in each generation, his dad messed up the cycle because he had two sons, by different women, but still. So we were hoping this would be boy...Also mikes sister just found out monday that for sure she is having another girl, so this is his mom and dads first grandson. Also between my three sisters we only have one niece, no nephews (one step nephew)...so this will be the first... I am sooo excited, and cant wait to start all the shopping...which will prolly start tomorrow, since its alread 10:30, otherwise i would start it tonight... I cant wait!
