Had my second baby shower yesterday Sunday the 26th of October... I loved it!... It was thrown by my family. Everyone I expected to show up did... all of my sisters, closest aunts, cousins, and mikes mom, sister and grandma. It was alot of fun... first we played the diaper game...which i definatly thought i was going to win, but didnt. Then we played baby shower bingo, which i didnt play cuz i was opening the presents of course... speaking of presents... I got a TON... did not expect that at all... Got all the last things i need/wanted, except for the baby mattress which i got today at babys r us. There was lots of food... and i ate the crap out if it all... speaking of that,.. im eating left over baby shower cake right now... ( my cake was like a little monster truck cake, with a monster truck running over little cars, and then in the corner it had a baby sleeping on a blanket....i know weird combo, but we LOVE trucks here in the "country" and it was my idea...) When i got home from the shower, at 10:00, I went back through all the gifts and put everything away... that took me awhile but i really liked looking at all the stuff again... it was awesome! Now were just waitin on this baby to come... hopefully it wont be that much longer... everyone is guessing ill be about 2 weeks early... dont know why, think its cuz of the GD and they are all sayin ima have a line backer...which is fine, chubby babys are cute...but it the part about getting them here that sucks...lol. =)

Awwww that sounds like a great shower!! It's so nice when people show up and I hope mine goes like that....not having it till after the baby. Hopefullly I feel like seeing people a week or so after! I got our mattress from babies r us too..I think I went overboard getting the posturepedic but hey it'll last as a toddler bed too right? I think. hmmmm
