| 24-11-2008 - 40 weeks! | My mood while writing this blog:ok |
Well...Officially 40 weeks today... and just wanting to get this thing over with already! seriously! There are absolutly no signs of him coming anytime soon, and i can almost bet people that I will be induced altho i really want my body to do this on its own... Havent lost my mucus plug, havent been dialated at all.. and babys head is quite high... have had very irregular braxton hicks contractions that are not painful at all, almost hard to notice. Tomorrow I go to the doctor and we are supposed to schedual an induction then... So Im hoping that will be on Monday the 1st. I wouldnt think the doctors would want to do it on Thanksgiving or the day after, or the weekend, they have familys to be with... so thats why im hoping monday... I dont know how far in advance you have to schedual an induction at the hospital before you have it but i hope that 5 days is ok... Anyone know the answer to this? is it typically over a week, or do you think it matters at all? Im just curious...and obviously very impatient... On another note, everything is ready... I did a bunch of house cleaning and just cleaned everything in a matter of a few days... washed all his newborn and 0-3 month cloths... Got the nursery done a few weeks ago, im really proud of it, love just going in their and sitting, waiting for my son to be their. I keep telling myself to try the castor oil thing, but then i talk myself out of it because i have heard some horror stories, and I just want my body to do this on my own. Altho, with me saying that, I would get and induction right now if they offered it... haha. Im actually worried about his size, with the GD, and at 31 weeks he was 4 1/2 pds already... and i dont exactly fallow the diet as good as I should... Because my numbers are never really that high, if they are its not like crazy high... only like 10-15 over usually if they are at all... its very random. But with this it does make me wonder about if he will fit, and I know that i have heard some stories about a really little person giving birth to an 11 lb baby, but me and my boyfriend both just dont think its gunna happen to me, and its making me wonder more since i still havent dropped... but his head is down... Today I went to the mall and walked, but i just felt like i was going to die after 2 hours and most of that time i was shopping, not really walking... thats horrible...lol. Anyways, I hope this is my last blog... sounds mean, but i totally do... at least until Michael arrives... but my whole family is making jokes about him coming out and already being ready for kindergarden, or with a beard, and full set of teeth talking. haha, they kill me. Anyways ill ttyl ladies, in the meantime, I wish you luck with your pregnancys, birth, and congrats to those who have just had theirs!
