13-5-2009 - 28 weeks 1 day...

My mood while writing this blog: Hungry (as always)

So....I had my appointment with my family doctor today....and turns out that my obstetricians scale is indeed off....Mind you, not by that much. I do not weigh 174lbs as his scaled indicated on the 29th of April. Today (3 weeks later) I weighed in at a whopping 168lbs....so his scale was off by at least 6lbs that is, if I havent gained any weight since I last saw him which I think is improbable....I definately weigh more than I had anticipated and Im kind of discouraged by my apparent weight gain....all of a year ago,I weighed in at 120 lbs, and now, 48 lbs later Im feeling like a fat blob! As terrible as this may sound, I cant wait to have Sydney so I can start my usual exercise regimen....I just cant stand the thought of being a fat chick :( maybe Im shallow and what not, but having been a chubby kid who managed to lose weight and have a relatively killer bod I'm scared of returning to my old fat self....Anyways needless to say after today's appointment Im happy that I dont weigh in at over 174lbs but my self confidence has definately taken a hit :( Oh well...hopefully I can keep a positive attitude by knowing that all of this is for a good cause....the best possible cause, my lovely daughter Sydney.
