My mood while writing this blog: Fan-freakin-tastic!!!

I had my appointment at the high risk unit this morning. I had an ultrasound at 9h45am to check up on Sydney's growth followed by an appointment with the high risk obstetrician at 11h00am. The ultrasound went well and to my surprise Sydney apparently weighs in at approx. 6lbs 8oz as opposed to the 5lbs 11oz she weighed in at on friday. It kind of hard to believe she gained so much weight so fast. Then again, the Dr. did say that there is room for error with ultrasounds as far as weight estimation is concerned. Theyre unsure at this point which ultrasound should be taken as the more accurate one, the one done friday or the one that was done today. Either way after a lengthy appointment with the Dr. we decided that we would go ahead with an induction. The papers were filled out and I was put on the induction list, now all I have to do is wait for the hospital to call me to come in. The Dr. told me it would be sometime this week, this weekend at the very latest! So here I am playing the waiting game, they could call me tomorrow or saturday who knows....I can expect a call any time from 9am ot 11pm....The anticipation is killing me! Im insanely excited to get to meet my baby girl...Mike is insanely excited as well...he keeps saying how excited he is to meet his "Sydney Fetus" (hes a silly goose!) He is going to be such a good dad!!! I just cant wait! Im keeping my fingers crossed that they will call me tomorrow or the day after at the latest so we can "get this show on the road" Anywhoo....Il let yuo all know when I get "the call"
