My mood while writing this blog: bummed |
So as Ive mentioned in the past, I put on wayyy too much weight during my pregnancy, I went from about 120-125lbs to 170lbs making for a total weight gain of about 50 or so lbs. I had Sydney exactly 8 weeks ago and my weight is....drumroll....
175lbs!!! Urg! I am so dissapoited with myself! I am beastfeeding and I walk at least 2k a day but the weight dosnt seem to be coming off....Ive put on weight which is incredibly depressing...I know why Ive put the weight on though my eating habits have been terrible! I thought that my breastfeeding and walking would at the very least balance things out. During my pregnancy I ate what I wanted when I wanted which was usually copious amounts of greasy food or junk. Now that Im no longer pregnant Im having big time trouble changing my eating habits, Im just so used to not worry about what I eat. Plus being discouraged about my current weight issues just makes me want to bury my face into a box of ben'n'jerrys even more, its a vicious cycle. Ive struggled with weight issues in the past and my solution has always been a "diet" of coffee, cigarettes and exercise which I awknowledge is far from healthy (but it has always worked) and definately not an option considering 1- I am breastfeeding and 2- I have to stay healthy now that I have a child to care for, if not for myself but for her. So, I am determined to lose this weight in a healthy way this time around!! Today is monday, the beginning of a new week and Im starting fresh!!! Im going to start being conscious of what I eat and Im going to up my excercise regimen....considering the fact that Im breastfeeding it should be fairly easy to reach my
goal (which is 125lbs) if I stay on track (which I intend fully on doing). So wish me luck ladies....Ill keep you all posted on my progress on the crazy weight loss adventure!

Monday, 21 Sep I have found through my first 4 pregnancies that crunches work wonders on the stomach and leg exercises for you legs and hips. Along with your walks. I did them every day 2 times a day. And I watched what I was eating. I would do my exercises in the morning and before bed, I would take my walk after doing my exercises at night. I would limit the sugars I was eating, I would allow myself 1 treat a day so I had to make it a good one when I had it. Good luck cuz I know what your going through. I just had #7 and am not the 105 I used to be. AmandaNicole86 -
Monday, 21 Sep I agree with tuesday. My mom said to eat oatmeal, and it does work! I also excercised by doing an aerobic tape every other morning. Don't worry. The weight will come off soon. :)
