My mood while writing this blog:
Ok

So....so much has happened since my last update...Sydney is doing great, she turned 2 months old just yesterday. And guess what??? My little turkey is teething already...Thats right, shes teething!!!! Which explains why not only has she been chewing her hands and drooling like crazy but why she has been incredibly cranky!!! It looks like one of her front bottom teeth is going to come out fairly soon (you can feel it when you touch her gums) I wonder how breastfeeding is going to go once she does start "cutting teeth" Other than that Sydney is doing so very well...she actually lets me set her down for brief periods of time which makes my life so much easier! She has also started sleeping for longer periods during the day/night (before she would only nap 15 or so minutes at a time during the day & 3 or so hours at night) and I think its in part because Ive cut out all caffeine from my diet, (im breastfeeding) not even decaf coffee, Im sticking to diet caffeine free pepsi (which is amazing) and water! On another note, I turned 23 two weeks ago! Had a pretty nice day, my hubby was working so it was just me and Sydney the entire day/evening. I cooked myself a fat steak and some of my favourite sides: sweet potatoes and creamy veggies, had a kronenbourg and took it easy....the following weekend my wonderful hubby gave me 700$ cash and told me to spoil myself! I went on a Top of the world (local skate shop) shopping spree and bought myself a new wardrobe and some sick DC purple leopard print kicks! We wrapped up the day of shopping with dinner at "the capital dining room" which is an amazing fine dining restaurant in our city...I had a glass of wine some lobster bisque and duck...all in all it was amazing! On to other news...the other day on an impulse I decided to dye my platinum blonde hair fire engine red and black...Needless to say I hate it!!! Im far too pale to have such dark hair and I cant find the time to hit up the tanning salon like I used to (I used to be a tanorexic!) So Im going to try a local salon a friend reccomended (Rinaldo's thnx Amanda) and see what they can do to get me back to platinum or at the very least light brown....I ordered myself 2 high quality human hair wigs (one platinum, one golden blonde both are like 2-3 times longer than my hair ones wavy the other is strait both far cries from the curly mess I call my hair) and worse case scenario I will wear those till my hair works itself out. If the salon colour technicians can work it out for me, Ill just keep the wigs, and wear them when I wanna switch things up in the bedroom :P Im sure Mike will be appreciative...lol....anyways thats all I can think of for now! ::cheers::

Maya has been drooling like crazy too!! for a long while just getting worse. She'll be 3 months old next week. Let me know how it goes at Rinaldo's! :)

yeah..cutting out caffiene is a good idea..I did that with my first before I gave birth..and it made him so much calmer..and I breastfed him for a year and a half too..so caffiene and alcohol were pretty much limited for a while..lol..but it's only a year or two out of your life to not drink caffinen or booze..so that's a price i'm willing to pay..for a nice calm baby..sounds like you had a great birthday..(wish my fella had given me $700 for a treat..lol..)..and I know what you mean about skin being too light for black and red hair..(i did exactly the same..i'm a natural blonde so have real pale skin..and I dyed mine all sorts of colours..(from purple with pink tips..to green and even checkered dark and light blue squares..lol)..but the black and red was by far the worst..I have blonde eyebrows..so looked a bit silly..haha..take care..hope your fella enjoyes the wigs..haha..x

LOL I hate when I have hair impulses too, because it never ever works out for me either. That's great that you got some wigs just in case. And happy belated birthday. It sounds like you had a wonderful day.
