My mood while writing this blog: Ok

Now too much is new on my end. Sydney is 12 weeks today, and she is doing great! She has a slight cold which has persisted for the last week or so...I brought her to her pediatrician and she basically said that there is nothing I can do other than suction her nose, make sure she gets plenty of rest and cuddles from mommy. Her breathing was a-okay, she hasent spiked a fever and her appetite has been fairly regular so I just have to wait this virus out. Sydney is taking it like a champ though, honestly she is not crankier than usual or anything, she's handling this cold better than I would if it were me (but then again I can be quite the complainasaurus :P) On another note I received some terrible news yesterday, a very good friend of mine who was due to have her daughter today went into the hospital on friday because of labor pains and a because she noticed a lack of fetal movement, they did an ultrasound because they were having trouble finding a heartbeat with the doppler and it was determined that her daughter had passed away :( Ashlynn Alice was born sleeping yesterday in the wee hours of the morning. Her mother is obviously very upset and heartbroken....as is everyone who anxiously awaited Ashlynn's arrival. I could not imagine the grief her and her family are going through, especially that she was full term and awaiting her daughter any day. To have to come home baby-less with a house full of baby stuff must be terrible and a reminder of what should have been. That being said I am so much more thankful for my daughter and her good health. On a lighter note I finally got my second thigh piece done over the weekend, I got a submachine (kinda looks like a mini-uzi) on my right thigh, its freakishly awesome!!! Mike got some fresh ink too (hs working on getting a sleeve and is almost 1/2 done) And not to toot my own horn but I sat for it very well considering how much of a puss I can be :P Its black and gray and looks surprisingly real, so watch out! I am officially packing some serious heat :P Next up is either a sawed off or a musket on my outer thigh the length of my hip to my knee (Im getting both done but Im debating which is next on the docket:P)....Ive also decided to have a few tats covered up, namely the ones on my breasts but itll have to wait till Im not longer breastfeeding, not only am I unsure as to the safety of breast tattoos and breastfeeding but talk about weird having leaky boobs while some dude gives you ink :S I cringe at the thought! Other than that not much is going on with me, Mike, Sydney and I have our family portraits this upcoming saturday, were still debating as to what theme wer going with and how were going to coordinate our outifits. Mike wants all 3 of us to wear white fitted tees and jeans with white socked feet (no shoes) I however wants to have a punk rock faimly pic, Sydney in her Ramones black and white diaper vest, a black bow in her hair and me and Mike in black hoodies with worn and torn skinny jeans...he isint too fond of that idea although Im sure I will prevail, if not there always next time :P Anyways thats all for me, thanks for reading!
