16-6-2009 - 36 week appt!!

My mood while writing this blog: sleepy

TO make this short and sweet i went to my dr's appointment today
no im not dilated ... awww
i gained 1 pound yaay!!
dr says im gonna deff have a july baby ... guess i will be preggo on my b-day july 1st awww!!
i didnt pass the strep b test awwww
so i guess when i go into labor i have to have an iv for penicilin ( spelling) and stay in the hospital 3 days awwww
im really really tired and gonna go lay down
i guess im kinda happy because i know it wont be till july for sure!!
which is fine .but i was kinda hoping he would come in te next 2 weeks ...oh well....
im glad to finally be 9mnths preggers !!

Hey... dont be discurraged... i am one CM dialated but have been for 2 weeks and no change.. but they told me that the only thing keeping her in there is my cervix cuz her head is like right there... when the doc examined me she said she felt her head pushing on my cervix but it coul say that way ... im just glad he is where she is supposed to be ect. I am getting so uncomfortable as well ... you just want it to be over. i have been feeling very tired as well i hvae been sleeping alot. during the day cuz i seem to be up all night peeing and cant get comfy. grrrrrr. your a july babay too? my b-day is july 18th and my daughter is due the 15th. how crazy is that lol.... well we will have cancer babies... so i guess we cant get to pissed when theytake after us... wink wink lol... well i hope you are feeling better and doing well. :) have a good one. *J*

You never know things can change pretty quickly, you might have your little one in the next 2 weeks! They tend to come when they want to. Hang in there you are almost done!

I agree with you I wanna meet my baby girl soon! Dr said she will come a week early probably but not earlier. Glad to hear everything is ok with you.

Three days? Aw hun, that sucks! I have Strep B too...but I only have to stay in for 24 hours...

I'm really hoping my baby comes in the next few weeks, but I'll bet she stays in there till past her due date, lol.

Things do happen overnite sometimes so i wouldnt be to surprized if you did have him before july but for some reason first time mothers go till their due date. I think its just cuz their bodies dont quite know what to do yet. Either way it is right around the corner. Have you talked about induction at all. I actually planned to be induced with my first at 39 weeks cuz i was sooo uncomfortable so that was nice. Well good luck mama and get that rest. Much luvs....jess
