30-6-2009 - 38 weeks appt... toxima ;-(

My mood while writing this blog:
curious

well i gained another 3 pounds
and i have been feeling really puffy all of a sudden
and i actually thought that this visit was a waste of time
till the dr came in and said that my blood pressure was high
and that im pretty swollen which is a sign of toxima
then she had me lay down for 5 min and then they checked my blood pressure again
and then they said they needed to draw blood to see whats going on
i asked my dr would she let me go past my due date
and she said no way!!! especially if i have toxima
i have a feeling something is wrong and they are gonna induce me soon
but then again it might be wishful thinking
the nurse said they would call me in an hour or 2 to let me know the results
part of me is like i hope im ok
but the other part of me is like ok fine lets have baby jacob cuz im puffy tired and sick and ready to see my little boy
i'll let you guys know what happens ... this happened to my friend at 38 weeks and they called her in that day and told her she would need to come in and have her baby .

Same thing happened to me..and I got induced that day! A lot of inductions end in c-section (mind did) and I never once thought I'd have one, so be prepared! But in all honestly I'm glad I had one, it was so easy!!

I hope everything works out and you are ok. You are almost done and hey you might get to do it a littler earlier than expected even though the circustances might not be what you had hoped for.
