08-7-2009 - 39 week appt ( BIG SURPRISE)!!

My mood while writing this blog:
speechless

well i went in for my 39 week appt today at 830 am
i got an u/s
found out jacob is too small
5 lb 14 oz and thats just an estimate he probably smaller the dr said
they hooked me up to moniters to moniter his heart beat
i had about 5 contractions that i didnt really even feel!!
dr came back in told me i need to come back friday so they can do another u/s
so they can check my fluid levels and she can check my cerix
moniter the baby and see how he's doing because he wasnt doing so well
with the stress test .... he's a very lazy baby !!
AND THE BIG SURPRISE WAS WHEN SHE TOLD ME
NEXT WEEK YOUR GONNA HAVE YOUR BABY!!!
so friday ( june 10th) i find out what day im getting induced!!!!! whoa!!!
i was in shock i had to ask her 3 times was she sure that im gonna have a baby next week
she just laughed and said your gonna have your baby next week
im hoping tuesday or wednesday!!
im happy its over and i know now that i wont go overdue
but im a little sad that it's because my little jacob is stressed out in mommy but i think its just his way of telling the universe he's ready!!

That's great news that you are getting induced! But not so great news that Jacob is having some problems :o(
I am sure he will come out healthy and happy though so try not to worry too much!

I'm so happy for you. maybe you'll have him on wed, then he'll be exactly 3 months younger than Evan. I glad your not gonna go past your date, i know you were worried about that. All I can say is YAY!!!!

girl i love small babies,my first was 5 lb 13 oz and she was 9 days overdue then amani was 5 lb 15 oz i love the small babies they get so much attention!!!! they look like little dolls.. both of mine were small and very very healthy so dont worry about his size he will be a little baby doll cant wait to see his cutre face

Adrianna was 5lbs 15 oz when delivered at 39 weeks. I think it is a good thing because its a little more feasable to push her out!!!! I mean him out!!!! Either way, I'm glad you have a date.

Don't be alarmed, those ultrasounds can be off a bit. Meaning he could weigh a little more or less, so don't panic mama! I know you're happy. Good luck with everything!

girl they told me my baby was going to be 6 lbs 9 0zs and that was a friday that monday i was induced cause i went for a stress test and my daughter just laid there they induced me that very day she was born 8 lbs 15 ozs . So they might be wrong dont worry jacob will be fine you know we will keep you both in prayer.

I am glad that it is almost over for you cant wait to see the pictures

OMG I am excited about baby Jacob gonna be here next week I know u are completely overjoyed!!! Girl Jacob gonna be fine and even if he small thats ok he is a boy and boys eat so he gonna pick up that weight fast!!!! CONGRATS again...

Congrats!! Glad you won't have to be overdue. I'm sure he will probably gain a little more weight within the next week as well and will be perfect for his arrival :o)
