20-11-2009 - This Baby is affecting every aspect of my life

My mood while writing this blog:
I have made up my mind

So I have decided that if I dont get my way when it comes to my gender scan on December 9th I am going to come back while the hubby is at work and ask for the results. It is not fair that he can get his way when I am the one doing all the cooking of this baby right now. He or She is affecting everything about me, what dose it affect the hubby? NONE! He gets to drink and party do what ever he wants. I am stuck being a D.D. I dont get to go out with my girlfriends and stay out late, I dont get to ride anymore, I have all these things that I cant do and that the hubby asks me not to do. All he has been affected is by me, he has to deal with me... Big woop that is not hard, I am not that big of a hand full. All I do is sleep and puke! SO I AM GOING TO GET MY WAY ON THIS! I just wont tell him that I went and found out. Then I will buy pink and blue and when I need to I will take back the color I dont need. Yep thats what I am going to do!

Does your husband not want to know the gender? That makes me so frusterated!!!! My bf tried to pull that on me, and I changed that real quick!!!! theres no way i'm going to miss out on everything like going out like you said...while he doesnt miss a thing, gain all this wait, feel sick...different, dizzy, and then give labor and not know if i'm having a son or daughter!!! it takes two to make this baby but all the development and hard work to get this beautiful baby here and healthy id all on us! so thankfully he changed his mind real quick. Dont let him to to control everything. Cuz when you think about it....YOU are controlling everything, so YOU should get your way on this. good luck girl! let us know what your having...so we can celebrate with you :]

well everything you wrote about him so far it seems like hes not ready to settle down. i dont mean to be blunt, and hope you dont get upset but it seems like he hasnt thought anything about the baby!!! yes, a child does change things but with the right person you both should adapt to the changes..keyword BOTH. you didnt get pregnant on your own and you didnt say his vows for him. HE NEEDS TO STEP UP OR STEP OUT! my ex still wanted to party and indulge in work when i had my lil girl. it took its toll so i left! not saying to, but if its not going to change now, you gota give him an ultimatium. HES GONA BE A FATHER DAMMIT IT..he needs to start focusing on your needs and the babies. thats what a family is all about!! ugg sorry i hate men like thislol. anywyas, i hope i wasnt too blunt , just hate seeing you get the short end of the stick when you and the baby should be HIS PRIORITY!...HUGS

hey girl,im really sorry the hubs isnt being more considerate in his decision making. :( I feel so blessed that mine has been such an angel. Its true that having a child changes many things in your life and you may not be able to do some of the things that you used to, but the best part is that you will get to be a mother. the greatest honor ever!!!! Hang in there girl, and do what u gotta do :)
