WOW! The 18 wk ultrasound was fantastic. We had the most incredible technician. Very hip, close to our ages and acted like a friend! We were the last one of the day (7pm) and she let my husband in to watch the whole thing! 40min!! (I had to lie there and try to watch the reflection in her non-reflective glasses) Doug LOVED IT....she had her legs crossed the whole time....with the cord in there to boot. While waiting for the "money shot" as she called it, she told my husband everything she was doing/seeing/measuring! She's perfect! At one pt. she had her hands (palms) together, up by her face like she was sleeping. Finally at the end, after I got up 2x to jump up and down and shimmy my belly....she gave it up! The tech insisted she would ONLY tell us if she was 100% sure...and the shot was so good (3 distinct white lines) that she told us she was 110% certain!
I'm still in a DAZE!, but I'd better get out of it...as she may come 1 day sooner than anticipated at this pt. She's measuring 1 day further along! LOL! ETA March 24th now.
What a G-R-E-A-T week! I get a Midwife (due to cancellation), I got my IPS results and I am low risk, and I'm having a girl!!! Woo HOo
PS... she's also about 1 lb now too!

I am telling all the "its a girl" people that I am a little jealous. I really wanted a girl too but my results are a baby boy. I am warming to the idea of a little man, I had everything planned for a girl now i need to find some good themes for the nursery room. Do you have a name ready?
