My mood while writing this blog: upset...mad...sad...confused

ok...i have had it with my doctor! She told me today that i would have to wait two more months before i know the gender! WTF!!!!! im 18 weeks and 5 days today...that would put me at almost 27 weeks! If i wait that long i might as well wait until birth!!!! i'm sooooooo upset! i can't even see straight!!! all i wanna do is cry...cry...cry! if im over reacting please let me know!

THAT SEEMS WIERD, YOU DIDN'T HAVE AN ANATOMY SCAN? I THINK THAT MOST PLACES DO THEM BETWEEN 18 & 20 WEEKS.

Is your doctor at least giving you another u/s in between? I wouldn't want to wait that long. With my second pregnancy my doctor did an initial u/s and then made me wait until I was about 6 months pregnant for the second one. I guess he missed a few things before he sent me. Things like the fact that my belly was measuring a lot larger were ignored. At the u/s they told me that I was expecting twins and were amazed that I didn't know. My doc said that was normal and told me a twin pregnancy was no different than a single pregnancy. Needless to say, I got a new OB. I guess the question is: Are you comfortable with your doc? If not, get a new one. You have to be able to trust what she is telling you. If you can't you shouldn't see her anymore.

Aww i am so sorry! i would look into fetal photos. We live in a small town and they had one here. If not they make have one close to you. You will have to pay for it and it is only meant for entertainment... But we had ours done and they are able to tell gender at 18 weeks and mine was clear as day! As far as changing doctors look at her behavior in general? Is this the only thing that upset you? Or are there other things. Dont make a call on the gender incident alone. i totally understand your frustration!!! Ugh! Good luck hun! Hope you are able to find a place to do it!

they only say that bcuz they want to make sure that what they tell u is right, bcuz i know some people have been told one thing then bought everything for that one gender and then they had the opposite! they should still give u an estimation tho, i had to go to UC baby bcuz here they dont tell u the sex at all, lol so be thankful they are even willing to tell u! :) check out UC baby, chances are tho u may still have to wait a bit (25 weeks i think they do gender scans) good luck hun!
