01-12-2010 - mucas plug

My mood while writing this blog: Ok

Well I for sure started lossing my mucas plug I was out alot walking today even though I shouldnt be got almost all our xmas shopping done so I didnt really have much of a choice im not online shopping anymore were out money to do a international company, I refuse to buy anything offline...I went the the bathroom and green slimy like stuff almost like snot...ive had white stuff like that, but I read it looks like snot so im assuming that is what it is, im also having a fair amount of braxton hicks tonight so maybe hes coming soon, hoping anyway Im givinbg up on my 37 week goal aha

as for dialation yes ive been dialated 2cm since 32 weeks i havent been checked since 32 weeks though because they dont want to risk it opening more, but my cervix was still long at 32 weeks, although there suprised i havent had my baby yet with the amount of complications ive had

sorry hate to be rude in all but i never said just because i was lossing my mucas plug meant i was going to go, ive been lossing it for a few weeks now and still nothing, i have other complications and thats why im told i will go early, even though i dont believe i will...just putting that out thereas for what the mucas plug looks like everyone losses it differently, and it looks completly different ive already talked to my ob about it

hate to agree with the others, i began losing my plug at 38 weeks and got veyr very excited, i was induced at 42 weeks. And then you realise what the plug looks like,and it is not pretty i can assure you! Usually with some blood, or in my case alot of blood. It is absolutly huge, and you could still have a few weeks still ahead of you, and at 35 weeks, that would be a very good thing for you both. Take it easy as you want the baby to come as late as possible to avoid the stress and worry and some health issues that come with preemies. I know at this stage you just want to not be pregnant anymore, trust me i know. But still aim for 38 weeks as best you can.

eh u could still make it to 37 wks. u could deliver the next day or u could deliver a couple wks later. that's what my mom says from her experience. i thought i lost mine but now i dont think i did or only maybe lost a little bit of it. grrr 36 wks 2 days and it doesnt even seem like i'm close and i've been so emotional i just want him out =/

I started losing my mucus plug last monday at 33.5 weeks. His head is engaging. Are you dilated already? Its getting so exciting for all of us now!! :)

Hi, I had my baby 3 weeks ago and the mucous plug came away that morning. But it was a bloody colour. Never heard of green. If baby doesnt come soon and you still keep getting it, I would just call the doc and ask about it. My first baby was born at 34 weeks and was perfect. Came home is 7 days. Good luck!!
