So here's the quick and dirty on what's been going on this morning. I woke up at 4:45 and had bloody show (finally the rest of the mucus plug) and went back to bed. At 5:30 I heard a really loud couple of cracks as the baby moved and there was some kind of bone on bone action in my pelvis. Then I had a couple of contractions with lots of pressure and a few minutes after that my water broke. My water didn't completely break so there are gushes here and there (hence the maxi pad and towel I'm sitting on). I've been having some contractions now and then and taking a shower was wonderful, but now I'm going to go back to bed and try to get a little more sleep before things get too intense. Eventually my doula will come over and sometime after that I'll head to the hospital. Yay! Anyway.... I guess I don't need that October 3rd induction date anymore : )
