14-10-2009 - GTT Test

My mood while writing this blog: Ok

heyyaaa everyone (:

As some of you might know already i had a GTT booked at my hospital for the 20th of this month. Well my local GP does the GTT aswell, so i decided to cancel my appointment at the hospital and head straight to my GP, its easier and much more convinient. For a start the hospital had not even booked me in to do the GTT!!! Or my scan and checkup 2 days later, so i had to book thoes, my antenatal classes havent been booked, nothing. Hospitals are so useless! Ao anyway as the normal i fasted, got up and went to the doctors. They didnt even tell me that i had to BRING MY OWN glucose drink, really pissed me off so had to walk all the way into town to get one.. so i come back they do the test it didnt even hurt... buuut its killing now when i move my arm and its got a huuuuge bruise.. so i went back to town to kill two hours which almost killed me cuz i needed to eat soooooo bad. The second blood test hurt alot more but doesnt hurt at all and there is hardly a bruise.. So my bf went and bought me a pizza which we shared in town, then he bought me a hamster lol! His name is tinky and he's 2-3 weeks old! He's lovley... well i have to fone on tuesday to get my results for my GTT im praying i dont have it!!! Well anyway ill update you guys then when i know the results!
