25-8-2009 - 15 weeks

My mood while writing this blog: blah

So I'm 15 weeks now and I went to the dr. yesterday and they tested me AGAIN for a thyroid problem. Today they called and put me on Synthroid asap. So I guess the baby will still be fine after talking with the nurse, I was just low on some hormone levels I think. Anyways, other than that, the dr. said baby looks good. My clothes look horrible on me. They either look like they are ready to bust at the seams or I look like I'm wearing a bag it's so big on me. I need some clothes that fit!!! We find out Saturday if our little one will be a boy or a girl. I don't really think I have a preference so bring on the pink or blue! My back has started hurting pretty much all of the time now especially making it more difficult to sleep but I'm sure that will get worse later on. But my appetite isn't nearly as big as I thought it'd be. Before I was preggo, I could sit down and eat a whole cheeseburger and fries like nothing and now I'm lucky if I finish the whole burger. Anybody else find that they seem to fill up a lot easier? I have gained 3 1/2 pounds and dr. says I'm right where I should be but it just seems odd to me. I guess my appetite will pick up later? My tiredness has faded now and I'm having much more energy to go out and do things, I hope this lasts. My DH and I have been taking advantage of this sudden burst of energy and taking weekend trips nearby. It's nice that I'm not so moody and mean to him anymore lol!
