29-12-2008 - fed up!

My mood while writing this blog: fed up!

i am now officially overdue! and sooo fed up, had a show yesterday morning (lost my mucus plug) snotty green jelly (TMI) sorry, pains on and off since xmas eve, but only niggly little ones, tahlia seems to have slowed down too, not as much movement, having trouble sleeping the last 2/3 nights...

woke this morning, having woken every 30 minutes to go to the loo, and wiped myself and had a little bit of blood, still no pains... had midwife appointment at surgery this morning, for sweep, and was told they would rather laeve me until sat morn, if nowt happens, as she thinks baby may make an appearance before wednesday!! i really hope so, have tried everything to bring labour on, raspberyy leaf tea, fresh pineapple, lots of walks, etc etc, only thing i've not tried is sex! as some of you already know, im doing this alone.

So bloody tired of waiting, i know its not been long, but just want to meet my lil princess, everything ready but lil madam herself, lazy lil buggar. any suggestions for bringing labour on greatly appreciated lol.

Hopefully the next time i write a blog will be about my birth story, planning a homebirth, and midwife says she may be niggling for couple of days then just come really quick? that would be great. has been nearly 13 years since last birth, so feeling a little anxious but excited too.
