My mood while writing this blog: Sad/Guilty |
Well on Thursday morning I got up for work and I felt a little wet. I jumped out the bed and looked at the sheets and they were wet and so was my legs but it was with blood. I went to the bathroom and clots began to pour out. At that point I jumped in my car and me and my hubby rushed to the hospital. I went straight to labor and delivery and was still bleeding with clots pouring out. I was rushed into the back and hooked up to several machines and given a sonogram. At that point I was told I needed a emergency c-section and was rushed in the room and put to sleep. When I woke up I was told I had a daughter and she is in intensive care. She was born 3lbs 5ounces and it was due to a placenta abruption. The doctor told me that if we were 30 minutes later we both would have been in a different ball game. I am thankful we have both survived after looking at the survival rate for this but I am sad about the whole situation. The baby is doing alright she has began drinking breastmilk from a tube and she is having a tranfusion today and has began to breathe on her own. I will continue to pray and hope for the best.
