29-12-2008 - My visit to the ER

My mood while writing this blog: confused and cranky

OK so this is how it went. Friday i noticed that my baby does this thing several times a day now & didnt kno if it was bad or normal or anything.. Were she would shake side to side for a good 5sec & did this 4 times friday. Saturday she did it 2times. I called the nurse & she said do i have any pain w/it. No pain& baby moves fine its just everyone i talk to doesnt kno what it is. but she still moves alot.they said as long as she doesnt do it constant or just stop moving it should be fine..

Sunday I go to work and i work in retail it sucks sometimes, but i noticed after standing for 10mins I get really weak and light headed, i was like hmm so i drank more water. when i sit it got better. so after almost two hrs of this I told my friend i work with that i need to call dr. The dr said has this happen before i said yes last night at a store i got weak within 2mins so i hurried up and sat down. she said sounds like your blood sugar level is low, you need to go home and rest try to raise it.

I went home tried to eat and drank more, still not feeling so hot, but i felt like doing a kick count to well i was laying there, she kicked 30times in 30 mins then she did the shaking thing and stopped moving and 20min later no movement. so i called my fiance told him we should go get checked out at ER.

We got to the ER told them how i felt and w/ the baby moving then not. So they check my blood pressure and pulse lying down then standing up. come to find out I was very dehydrated, they also checked the baby her heartbeat was 140 which is good. The dr came in and i didnt like him from the start. he told me i need to eat more drink more i underweigh and i have a parasite in me so i need more fluids. the nurse said its a BABY! duh.. My dr has said im perfectly fine were i am in wiegh and in books average is 19-25lbs im at 17lbs..so then he wants me to get a pelvic exam not happy at all. so he does this & at start he doesnt wanna do any samples to get tested then he gets in there & says have u had any problems with your cervix?

I said no.. never told me y he asked that or nothing then tells the nurse he wants samples, y? i dont kno all i heard was an std one and i had that done in august, and since i have been prego i lost my sex drive so i havent had sex. so y? i dont kno what the other two were, then he asked if my cervix was tender how would i kno so he sticks his hand in there and presses very hard i said yea that is tender. he said ok lets get you hydrated.. I'm like what is going on.

I go to get dressed and noticed i had blood on the sheet and i was bleeding bright red to brown red to clumps now i was scared. he hooks me to an IV and that iv didnt feel so hot i was poked 3times before she got it in and now my arm is bruised bad &hurts to move. well ended up having 2 bags of one stuff & the second bag i started geting a cough like a smokers cough and couldnt stop, my face went pale too, my man was getting pissed because i came in w/no bleeding and no cough &now i have both & feeling worse. the dr came in sayin see u probably had a cold ill get u a thing to treat in. Went to bathroom & still bleeding more clots too now i wanted to die.. I felt like i was dying. so they switched me to a different type of stuff and i started to feel better no cough either.

They had to call in an ultrasound lady to just check baby since i bleeding after the dumb dr did it.. after waiting an hr she took me and we looked at the baby. wow does she look different from last time i saw her at 19weeks.. she said baby looks great, showed me anything i wanted to see, and tried her best to get a face shot for me and now i have a pic of my babys face which made me happy. My baby likes to open her mouth alot and stick her tongue out i saw her doing that so so cute.. She said my baby weighs right were she needs to 2lbs & 10ozs. i think i heard her say to dr that my baby has a big head and a smaller belly. not sure tho Found out that my placenta is still good, my cervix is still good so everything is good with baby, just the bleeding really bothered me but its not really there today thank god..

The good ending of the story is that I get to see my regular dr the one i trust tomorrow for my appt.. I cant wait!!!
