13-2-2009 - bleeding

My mood while writing this blog: glad

OK so yesterday around 9pm i went to the bathroom and noticed some blood and discharge when i wiped. I thought to text my friends that have been through this and they said it probably was my mucus plug. so i didnt think anything of it.. Then an hour later i had more blood and was bright red so i was confused if its normal or not.. so i called a nurse and they said it waas probably my plug. I had a little cramping going on but nothing consistent. She said just keep an eye on the cramping. I then woke up at 220am and i had lots of maroon color blood so i was like really what is going on, i kinda freaked out, i called the on call dr and she asked many questions, like color is there pain, is baby still moving. I said i have pain here and there a new type but nothing consistent, baby is moving alot so wasnt to worried but i thought i better get checked just incase..

I went to dr, she did the strep b test well i was there and checked said as long as its not bright red blood, or pain that gets worse and not better or the movement of baby i would come in.. She said babys heartbeat is good, and looks like old blood, plus its probably because my cervex is soften and im 1/2 dilated.. she said there can be more when i open farther so dont worry. So i feel alot better. Called my friend thats 2 days behind me and she is at the same place i am for cervex and dilated.. its kinda nice to have someone with you on this :)
