01-9-2009 - Hoping for the best

My mood while writing this blog: Confused

I had a miscarriage on 8/2/09, i was 11 wks, this was my second one, I have not children and my bf and i are wanting one. After this last m/c my doc told me that i could start trying right away, so i did. if i got by my reg cycle i was suppose to get AF on 8/30/09... and still have not got it... so i took 4 HPTs 2 digital and 2 not... I took the non digital ones first... and could see a line so faint that it almost made me believe i was seeing things... so then i took the digital ones and they say not pregnant... this happened within 3 days because i do know ur hgc levels go up everyday by double in the first few weeks. So with having two m/c before i want to be sure if i am or am not, so i called my doc today to set up an appointment... After talking with the on call nurse, (not my doc nurse, my doc not in today) she asks me if my hgc levels got down to 0 after the m/c... i tell her i think so but was never told for sure... (for some reason they don't every tell me numbers, they just tell me everything looks good) she tells me that they only have one record of my blood test from the 3rd.... (one day after i started to m/c) i told her they took more blood on the 6th... and she said well that was to check ur thyroid... which i knew was what one of the tubes they took was for... but they took four tubes of blood.... so now i have an appointment set up for thursday to see what my levels are becuase the faint line on the non digitals hpt could still be from the last pregnancy... i'm think oh great! i could possibly have to go in for a d&c now, or how are they suppose to be sure that its from the last one and not a new one??? i am stressing out about this... why didn't they monitor this in the first place? aren't they suppose to?? why do i always feel like i get the doctors that don't care about me????
