thanks ladies... i have a doctors apointment in about a half hour here.. not my normal doctor but as long as they can check thing out its fine with me. i hope its not a m/c.. this will be my third... the first one started with heavy spotting and cramps and i m/c two days later... my second it just happened right away after i noticed blood... and this one... it was only when i wiped sorry if tmi... and now it seems to not be there anymore but am still going to doctor just to be on the safe side and to put my mind at rest even though i know that they are not always right... but thank you all for your advice and good wishes... will keep u updated when i find out more.

to be honest with you,if you are spotting to me it means there is something wrong, but you never know but with me both times i spotted turned out to be m/c if you are cramping or bleeding heavy go to the dr or er good luck

To be honest, I started "spotting" with 3 of my m/c, but witihin hours it became severe cramping. My sister in law on the other hand, spotted through out her pregnancy, and she has a healthy 6 yr old son. It all depends on the reason and pregnancy. A DR or ER could give you the answer you are looking for with an ultra sound. Every person is sdifferent, as well as every pregnancy, so it's hard to say what is "normal." Best of luck hun, I know how you have been ttc.

well i would say that when you ask something like this most people try and tell you what you would like to hear. but from my perspective, talking to midwives about it, they say that any kind of bleeding is not normal within a pregnancy, usually the kind of bleeding that is okay is where there are occasions where it is to do with something medical, the placenta being too low etc etc. i remember asking people if it was normal when i started spotting and they all said 'yeah its fine, nothing to worry about, it happens quite often'. i built my hopes up that all would be okay and i would be in that small percentage where it is a medical reason other than a miscarriage, but in the end they were wrong and i suffered miscarriage a day later. i do remember thinking 'why couldnt they just be honest and say the truth', as i'd rather have honesty than people just deliberately trying to make me feel better. i would say to you to get as much rest as you can and if you are still bleeding tommorrow go to the hospital and they should do a scan to check what exactly is going on. much better to know than to think all is okay. best of luck (((((hugs))))))

I had spotting in both prenancies around this time, I would say it was pretty normal but as someone has already said, if it gets heavy or anywhere near like a normal period accompanied with cramping, call your doctor straight away, as for now get as much rest as you can :)
