Well I'm trying to decide if I should test the day I'm supposed to start my period or if I should wait till I'm a week late. I've been through this before (we weren't ttc, but my periods have been so spuratic that I've thought I was pregnant a lot), so I guess I'm a little weary of testing so early just to get a negative and waste another 8 bucks, yuh know? On top of that, I am not positive I am on a 28 day schedule, I'm just guessing based upon my ovulating on the 14th day. I really I am hoping that I am on a 28 day schedule and that I stay on it, I am sick of crazy cycles. My cycles are really easily affected by stress, so whenever there's a great deal of stress, which there has been a lot of, my period is off. My husband and I moved about 2 hours away from all our family and friends in the middle of April and I had my first cycle in gosh-knows-how-long on May 29th. So I'm kinda back and forth about when to test due to all this craziness, lol. Any advice or experience would be most helpful, thanks ladies! =)

my advice would be to go ahead and test. If you're worried about spending $8 each time, then go to the Dollar Store. This lady on the internet has this pregnancy test website called www.peeonastick.com and she conducted different tests on different pregnancy tests and found that the Dollar Store ones are some of the best, most reliable pregnancy tests out there. Which is good news for us who are on budgets! Go out and spend your 8 bucks on 8 tests dearest and test away so you can put yourself out of your misery. A lot of times when you wait and you're anxious wondering if you are or if you're not, it makes your period late and your mind plays tricks on you with any little symptom you may have. So it's better to just go ahead and take a test when your period is supposed to start and if it's negative, then just wait... I find that it's easier to wait that way. LOL
