| 08-7-2009 - The 411 | My mood while writing this blog:Banana-Bread-Making-Mood |
So I thought
I’d explain why I’m not totally freaking out about my AF not showing up yet. This
kind of cycle is definitely not unheard of for me. In the past my cycles were
about 45 days on average (major suckiness there!) but then I hit a 3 month 28
day cycle stint, then my husband basically got laid off from his job and we had
to move about 3 hours away from all our friends and family to find a place with
work and cheaper rent. Needless to say, this majorly affected my cycles (they
react really easily to stress) and I wasn't keeping track of them for a few
months, so I don't know what my length should be right now. I was hoping since
I thought I O'ed on CD14 that I'd have a regular 28 day cycle, but obviously
not. I’m not even positive that I did O then, it just appeared to be EWCM, so I
thought it was, haha. Anyways, I know a few of you have been concerned and
suggested that I go to the doctor, but that’s not all that feasible right now.
Because my husband just changed jobs a few months ago, we don’t have insurance
coverage yet. I know, I know, why are we ttc then if we don’t have insurance,
right? It’s because we qualify for our state pregnancy insurance (which is way
better than what we will get through DH job, lol). It will cover everything,
paid for IN FULL!! All my dr/midwife appts, ultrasounds, ER visits if needed, whole
delivery & a few days in the hospital (if chose the hospital, haha), postpartum
care. And I will qualify for extra food, a breast pump and/or formula and an
infant car seat. It’s an amazing program and I feel so blessed that we will
qualify for it when we get pregnant. Anywho, that’s the 411. I appreciate all
your concerns and please be relieved, that yes, this is normal for me, just a
frustrating fact of my life, lol. =)
