28-4-2008 - 4/28/2008 - 18 weeks NervousMy mood while writing this blog:
Nervous

Ultrasound was a little scary. A tech did it and she said she would take the pictures and then let us know what she saw. Our little guy was spinning around all at the beginning making it difficult and then apparantly just fell asleep in a more comfortable position, facing away so we couldnt see anything else. No chance to see the gender but at this point I just hope everything is OK. She said I had to come back later in the week and I should call my doctor. Chris asked if everything looked normal and she said she couldnt say. Of course this freaked me out and the more I thought about it over the weekend, the more scared I got! I lost a lot of sleep over it because I was so nervous. I thought that ultrasound day was going to confirm that everything was OK, but I have to wait for the doctor to review everything! When I called for a new appointment though, the woman said it was actually rare that more than one appointment wouldnt be needed. They rarely see everything they need to in one shot, so I definitely feel better about it. Next ultrasound is scheduled for May 2 and I dont even care about the gender anymore! Just want to know everything is where it should be!!
