22-5-2009 - Update on Kaydence!

First, thank you all for the comments on my last 2 blogs. I'm trying to reply to everyone individually, but I'm a little short on time now. If I don't get to reply to you immediately, please know that I'm seeing the comments and I appreciate all of them.

Kaydence is an absolute sweetheart. I love how she has bonded to me. It seems like no matter what's going on, as soon as I pick her up she gets really quiet and just stares at me until she falls asleep. It's the sweetest thing.

I'm trying to stop co-sleeping now, as I greatly fear SIDS. At this point, Kaydence will nap for about an hour in her crib, but after that, she's done. LOL, it's getting better though.

On Monday she went to her first pediatrician appt. At birth she was 6 lbs 11 oz, and 20 inches long. Two days later when we were discharged from the hospital she was 6 lbs 5 oz. On Monday (2 days later) she was 6lbs 12.5 oz and 21 inches long. My baby is growing so fast!!! It's nice to know my breastmilk is actually working. LOL, for a while I doubted that I had some, but no, it's definitely there.
