21-11-2009 - I'm back! Update!!!

My mood while writing this blog: ok

Hey everyone!!!

I haven't been on here in forever, but I wanted to check-in. Kaydence is now 6 months old, and is getting so big. At 4 months she was 17 lbs, so I wonder how big she'll be at this month's appointment.

I'm still breastfeeding, and very happy about that. My family and Kaydence's pediatrician are telling me to stop by the time she's 1 year old, so that may be my cutoff.

Being a mom has been so different than I imagined. I never went back to work when my maternity leave was over, so I am now a stay at home mom and a full-time college student. I feel like I am always either doing homework or taking care of Kaydence. I love it though.

Now I have reached a point where I want to get out more. I go to school online so most weeks I only leave the house maybe 2-3 days. I've become extremely secluded, so I am going to change that now. I'm still single, and not looking to change that, but I need to get out more and talk to more people besides my family. I'm going to start getting more involved in play dates and other mommy and baby activities. Wish me luck! If anyone has suggestions on finding play groups please let me know.
