My mood while writing this blog: STILL exhausted, but in a good way this time

May 9-11,2008-Mommies Day weekend.. NOW that I think about it, I guess I was a tad of a busy body, I went to the grocery store on my own, had helped Keith and Jazmin in the yard planting flowers, we'd gone to Walmart, Target, Home Depot AND walked the mall.. oh yeah and I 'supervised' Keith move the family room furniture and he and Jazmin paint her dresser-so yeah I had a busy weekend

May 12, 2008,approx 4am. I wake up to contractions. Of course Im not thinking this is anything promising so I lay there for awhile tryin to sleep thru it-didnt work. I started feeling like I had to do #2 so, still not thinking this is anything, I do what I do and go back to bed. About 15 minutes later.. I'm still feeling pains, so I tell Keith my tummy hurts really bad-he doesnt move or respond..and I cant continue lying there, so I get up with the intentions of watching tv, surfing and maybe some tea to calm my belly AND I didnt want to wake Keith if this turned out to be nothing, so I head to the family room. Anywho.. after about 5 contractions at 15 minute intervals, I'm thinking ok THIS IS THE REAL DEAL. Keith FINALLY comes to check on me( I guess he realized I wasnt in bed) and asks if I'm ok..I'm on my hands/knees looking up at him... I told him,no-this baby is coming today! He starts with questions, questions that start to annoy me like crazy to the point where I told him dont ask me anything rite now. I guess he got IT it cause he got on the net and started surfing contractions/labor stuff I guess cause he started reading what he'd found to me (sigh). Around the time my contractions reached the 8 minute mark and he'd called his mom and mine(LOL) we headed to the hospital.

we get there around 7:15a and to be honest, the contractions hurt, but they're bearable, so I'm thinking they'll eventually stop or we'll be sent home. a nurse comes to examine me and told me to guess how dilated I was since I told her previously I'd only dilated 1cm.. I guessed still at 1cm or 2cm... she said 8!!she couldnt believe that I was still talking/smiling @ 8cm lol anywho I managed to get a great wifey thank goodness! at the rate I was progressing she thought we'd see Kaidyn no later than 10am.. BUT of course the pains got more intense so I requested the epidural, which slowed Kaidyns heartbeat whenever a contraction hit and as soon as I felt no pain, my water broke AND Kaidyn wasnt facing my back like she needed to be, BUT around 2:30ish they started talking that c-section mess again and I refused to have that so.. in my mind it was time to get this lil Momma outta there LOL!! I had about 4 contractions, with each I pushed 3-4xs and on the last push. she turned & popped out. I couldnt feel any pain, but it was hard pushing her and trying to hold my breath,breathe and bare down in my butt and keep that freakin oxygen mask on .. yeah I had alot going on! I didnt tear, didnt need to be cut, so no stitches and Keith didnt faint.. he stroked the hell out of my forehead and hair tho LOL and he was a pretty good coach, he kept telling me that I was being a 'big girl' and kissing me so.. I was hyped no doubt LOL

she looked perfect when she popped out,and I'm not just saying that lol.. she didnt even cry. I had the option to stay until today {Wed} but we came home yesterday afternoon since we were both fine, I was walking around on my own not long after I had her lol and u know theres no place like home so....oh yeah and its no fun having the nurses come in ur room to check on u/baby every few hours, ESPEC when u JUST dozed off, I didnt sleep well last nite, BUT I'd still rather be home :O) ok mommies, about to try and load some pics of the diva cause I know u want to see who the lil slow poke was ... talk to u soon!!!!
