12-7-2008 - Kaidyn's 2 months old today

My mood while writing this blog: thrilled, but exhausted

Today my baby is 2 months old. WOW. The time has flown by, I swear we just brought her home the other day.

What can I say?? Kaidyn is a happy little girl. She smiles soooo much.. just never long enough for me to grab the camera LOL Shes making all kinds of noises when u talk to her.. when I say shes a joy.. shes such a wonderful, thrilling joy. Shes such a good baby and Im not just saying that. Shes ALWAYS slept thru the night, at this point shes not spoiled (notice I said at this point) Shes very curious about her surroundings and she recognizes familiar faces/voices.

Shes adjusted well to daycare I think, I still call just about everyday to check on her to see what shes doing and I have the daycare director put the phone to her ear so she can hear my voice, I can hear her smile/giggle when I talk to her, boy, talk about feeding my sickness LOL

Shes the apple of Daddy's eye for sure. He wakes up/goes to sleep at night saying her name. If it were up to him-she'd still be in our bed at night, yes I have to admit when she first arrived , she slept with us, BUT I knew we were creating a monster so, I still have to explain to Keith that she cant sleep in our bed, her crib is in our bedroom so shes ok. He's still 'trying' to adjust, its kinda cute to see his face and hear him beg me to let her sleep with us, BUT not that damn cute!

Jazmin/Ted are away for the summer so that only leaves Jeremy, my oldest, here with her and she DEF knows who he is LOL hes a cool lil helper, he will watch her while I start dinner or do little things around the house, which is great! He comes in to check on her at all times of the morning which is cute, BUT at 6:30am??? on the weekend?? GEESH! Its soo cute to see him cuddle with her ,her trying to talk to him and her looking for him when he leaves the room... shes got her big brother wrapped already :o)

Anywho.... I've babbled long enuff.. shes alseep and I want to start dinner in peace, I just wanted to note this day, I had planned to load a pic of her to add to this blog, but the lil chick is knocked out LOL Hopefully I can add one a little later today.

Kaidyns a doll. I love her so much. I can honestly say I never dreamed the day would come that I'd have another baby at this age, BUT God DEF put her in his plan so shes here and we all just love her like crazy! It brings tears to my eyes just thinking that she may not have ever been in my life had it not been for that 'crazy' night Keith and I had LOL.

Like I said.. I'll try and load a pic of her today later . Shes got her 2 months shots coming up on Friday, my poor babys going to get 4 shots, so I'm guessing 2 in each leg.. I'm not looking forward to that appt and I'm REALLY going to try not to go off on the nurse when they give her the injections... I may need to start praying for strength now LOL

ps. Kaidyns still 'tiny' to me, BUT shes FINALLY able to fit 3month old clothing.. so yayyyy no more Preemies for us :o)
