I'm excited to report after much anticipation I finally had my 1st ultrasound today with my new OB. My husband Tim was there with me and we got to hear the heartbeat together. I heard the heartbeat Monday at my other doctors office. Even though I am 12 weeks and decided to change OB's I'm very happy with my decision.
Also we told our Mother's today at the same time with a gift which was the u/s pic framed. My Mom was very excited and cried and hugged me 20 times (I asked her to keep it a secret awhile longer) and Tim's Mom cried the second I handed her the gift. My best friend asked if she could tell her husband which is my husbands friend too. I told one other close friend who has 3 kids that adore me and she cried. In all 3 friends and our Mom's know. For me that was enough to be able to keep the secret a little bit longer.
I never thought this day would come for me after the struggles I had with my loss and I feel blessed everyday for this gift. I know now things are meant to be when it's the right time.
