10-9-2009 - It's a....... OkMy mood while writing this blog:
Ok

GIRL! I had an ultrasound this morning. The lady didn't seem confident to me but who am I to say I've been taking everything out of context lately. My husband and Mom think she's right because she checked 3 times. She didn't tell me how long she was because she said she was to too scrunched up and it would be hard to say with legs and all. 2nd strike in my book for the techs confidence. She did happen to know my sweet little Hattie weighed 10 ounces. She also measured 18 weeks 2 days. At my first ultrasound she was one day behind according to my LMP. Her heartbeat was 141 bmp. We decided on Hattie even though I wanted Hadley. For some reason I like 'H' names. My sister that is almost 12 is Harley and my identical twin sisters that are 9 are Hailey and Hannah. Oh and I have a 5lb Yorkie named Holden and a 200lb St. Bernard named Honey. An 'H' just fits I guess.I really hate pink so I think I'm still going with gender neutral paint for her nursery lime green or yellow. Clothes on the other hand I mostly bought brown today when I went shopping at Old Navy. I spent $130..... got a ton of outfits/dresses and two pairs of shoes. My husband is happy to have his very own "Princess" since we spoil the crap out of my sisters. Anyways, all the old wives tales were wrong for me.

Be careful... we were told a "boy" twice at ultra sounds and at delivery we got a girl! The best thing to ever happen! I kept everything neutral because I didn't really believe them. :) Congrats!!
